Life Line Pilots:
LifeLine Pilots facilitates transportation for on-going medical treatments, diagnosis and follow-up care through pilot donation of flight expenses and time. I am involved in redesigning the database for lifeline Pilots to keep information about medical services, social workers, patients, medical equipment etc. This database design incorporated referential integrity constraints and normalized tables in order to keep data consistent and to reduce data redundancy. When compared to the existing database design, the redesigned database has new tables, new relationships among tables, and also some new attributes to capture domain requirements. These changes in the database help to handle many requirements which were not realized in the old database design.
